Love Island's Amber and Michael share passionate kiss days after Joanna’s exit

Love Island’s Amber Gill and Michael Griffiths share a passionate kiss for the first time since their split following Joanna Chimondes’ shock dumping from the villa.

The former couple will share the intimate moment after Michael finally admitted to Amber that he still had feelings for her in last night’s episode.

Tonight’s edition sees the fireman pick Amber to take part in a challenge with him called Men at Work.

At the end of the competition, which sees male Islanders go head-to-head to be named Buffest Builder, each boy has the chance to kiss their partner. Michael sees this as an opportunity to go for Amber even though she is coupled up with Ovie.

The snog sets tongues wagging in the villa but Amber remains unsure on whether to give Michael a second chance.

Michael tells Amber: "I do still like you" before the pair team up for the game.

Amber was left confused by Michael (ITV2 Love Island)

He said: "The situation that I am in now has given me time to clarify a few things in my head.

"It’s given me time to think and realise ‘I do like Amber.’

"I can only apologise about how I was over the last few weeks. I’m just letting you know that I do still like you.”

But Amber is confused by his confession and spoke her mind in the Beach Hut, admitting that she wishes new guy Greg O'Shea – who took her out on a date - would have kissed her too, instead of giving her a peck on the cheek.

During their conversation, Amber questioned whether Michael would have told her his true feelings if Joanna was still in the Majorcan compound with them.

He insists: “Yes. I would have to have this conversation. I knew that I still liked you. I just kept denying it to myself.”

She remains shocked by Michael's confession, adding: “I actually cannot believe what is happening. I cannot believe Michael of all people, pushed his pride to the side and said how he really felt.”

Love Island continues tonight at 9 pm.
