Love Island's Amber and Greg visit very unexpected place as she gives him tour of Newcastle

It's now been a week since Amber Gill and Greg O'Shea won Love Island and they were back on screens last night for the show's televised reunion.

Geordie girl Amber and Irish lad Greg pulled off a huge shock in the eyes of both viewers and bookies when they beat red hot favourites Tommy & Molly-Mae in the live final.

Love Island voting percentages have since been released and showed that Amber and Greg totally stormed the final vote, getting nearly double the amount of votes as their rivals.

Since landing back in the UK, Amber and Greg have been very busy and one of their first tasks was to make their way up to the North East to the now 22 year old's home turf.

After arriving at Newcastle station, the now 'exclusive' pair saw a few of the area's famous sites, including the Tyne Bridge and the Angel of the North, before driving past Amber's primary school and then calling in at a rather unlikely location.

When you think of tourist attractions to visit in and around Newcastle, Blaydon Rugby Club probably doesn't immediately spring to mind, but given that Greg is a professional rugby player it was a good shout by Amber's dad and auntie who led the tour.

She even remarked "Somewhere for you to train when you move here!"

After their road trip around Newcastle and Gateshead, Amber and Greg headed to her family home in Whickham, where they were greeted by a huge crowd of family and friends for a big welcome home house party.

Following her day at home, Amber headed back down to London and celebrated her 22nd birthday in style with a boozy bash at STK late night restaurant in the capital on Saturday night.
