Love Island's Amber and Greg make relationship official after fix claims over win

Love Island's Amber Gill and Greg O'Shea have made a huge announcement about their blossoming relationship a day after their shock win.

The pair caused a huge upset after being crowned the people's champions over Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague on Monday night - despite only being together two weeks and not being boyfriend and girlfriend yet.

But just hours after scooping the top prize, Amber and Greg dropped a huge bombshell.

During an interview with the Mirror, Greg asked Amber if they were now exclusive.

"I think that... yeah," she said.

Greg responded: "I don’t think it's in our nature to see other people. We’re both quite loyal and we’re really into each other at the moment even though it’s only early stages. So definitely we’re only seeing each other."

His loyalty to Amber comes as a sly dig to her ex Michael Griffiths who infamously cheated on her during the Casa Amor twist and broke her heart.

Michael had been one of those tuning in to watch Amber and Greg's triumph on Monday night's show.

Watching from the UK, Michael filmed his reaction and shared it with fans on Instagram .

"Oh s***, oh s***, I did not expect that," he repeated.

Amber and Greg's win had come as a huge shock to many viewers who expected the only official couple Tommy and Molly-Mae to steal the £50k.

Some Love Island fans flocked to  Twitter  to announce their anger at the result.

"WHAT!!! Such a fix, it’s called love island they aren’t even in love," cried one viewer.

Another added: "Not happy, Greg’s been in 2 minutes. FIX!!"

"What an absolute fix that was #LoveIsland what a joke your show is," said a third.

However, others insisted it actually proved that the show is definitely not a fix.

One fan said: "Greg and amber winning has stopped me believing the show is a fix, well done producers x"

Amber opened up about her time in the villa to Caroline Flack before the result was announced.

Describing her experience, Amber said: "Oh my god. Absolutely wild. Roller coaster of emotion. Absolutely mad."

Referring to her split from Michael Griffiths, she added: "I had that period of time that was just awful and I thought it was over for us."

Turning to Greg, she said: "Then you came in."
