Alexandra Cane has left her social media followers absolutely stunned after sharing a throwback photo of her stunning mum.
The former Love Island babe, 28, took to Instagram to pay tribute to her 'best friend and hero' as she celebrated her mother's birthday without her due to social distancing measures put in place to stop the spread of the coronavirus.
Alongside a throwback photograph of her gorgeous parent, Alex admitted that she was struggling being so far away from her loved ones on the special day.
The brunette bombshell told her followers that she wished she could hug her mother, but reassured them that 'this too shall pass'.
The stunner penned: "Happy Birthday to my absolute rock. My world. My hero. My idol. My strength. My everything.
"I miss you so much. I love you more than anything or anyone ever. Today is for you mumma.
"I wish I could hug you. This too shall pass" she added.
There's no denying that Alex bares an uncanny resemblance to her young mother in the vintage snapshot, and fans couldn't quite believe it.
Taking to the comment section, they shared their disbelief at how similar the gorgeous pair's facial features are.
"Oh my word you guys are like twins. I genuinely though you'd dyed your hair and this was you" explained one admirer.
While a second echoed: "So beautiful. You're literally her double. Absolutely astonishing!".
"What a beauty. You look just like her. It's kind of crazy how much the more I look at her!" a third quipped.
With a fourth adding: "Wow your the double of your mam! Beautiful. Happy Birthday to her!".
Others reassured the former Love Island babe that it won't be long until see is reunited her family.
"Keep your chin up babe- won’t be long until you can give her a huge hug and it will be so worth it".
"Not long now sweetheart. You'll see her again so soon" another said.
Alex's sweet post comes after the reality TV siren confessed to having a stalker on social media.
Last month, she took to Instagram to ask her loyal following for advice before deciding to report the obsessed fan to the police.
Alex shared that she has been subject to "verbal abuse" in public and that she is being 'stalked'.
Posting to her stories, she typed atop of a snap of herself: "I have a stalker & I don’t know what to do about it…will the police do anything? Are they the best people to contact?"
The Happy Body Plan creator then informed her fans: "Stalker has been reported to the police. Gr8."
The pretty star penned next to the post: "I actually don’t understand how people think this is ok???
"I’ve had public, verbal abuse in the past on MULTIPLE occasions … now I’m being stalked. It’s a disgrace."
