Love Island's Alex George makes hilarious confession over iconic Casa Amor moment

Love Island 2018 star Alex George has revealed what it was like having a front row seat in the villa when the iconic moment Josh Denzel dumped Georgia Steel went down.

In the current series of the show, the islanders have been once again split in a Casa Amor twist, with the girls heading off to the not so secret second villa.

They’ve been joined by six new boys, while over in the main villa the original guys have been introduced to six new girls.

Fans are already predicting some shock splits, as the newbies prepare to ruffle some feathers.

Viewers are also predicting if not slightly hoping that we see a repeat of last year when it comes to finding out if anyone has been ditched.

At the end of Casa Amor the girls will return to the villa, with the boys waiting to see if they’ve stayed loyal to them or will be bringing a new boy back.

The same works with the men though, as when the girls walk in alone of paired up, they’ll find out if their fella has chosen a newbie over them.

Amid speculation history will repeat itself for one couple, past contestant Alex has revealed all on that iconic moment involving Josh and Georgia.

Josh’s head was turned when he went to Casa Amor, and he returned to the villa with Kaz Crossley on his arm.

Georgia meanwhile had faith in him and stayed loyal, not choosing a new man which meant she was left single, and what followed was a dramatic showdown with the former couple.

Speaking of being sat right next to the pair as the awkward moment unfolded, Alex reflected on one of the show’s biggest moments to date.

Tagging Josh in his comment, he confessed: “Had my [peach emoji] clenched for the whole thing.”

Alex wasn’t the only one, but this hasn’t stopped viewers confessing they are ready for it to happen all over again this year.

Love Island airs all week at 9pm on ITV2.
