Love Island's Adam Collard sets sights on 2023 star and wishes she was with him in villa

Love Island's Adam Collard has set his sights on one of the class of 2023.

The show veteran, 26, was coupled up with Paige Thorne, 24, last year after hitting it off with the paramedic in the villa - but they split after he was accused of cheating.

Now, the personal trainer has his heart set on one of the girls in the current series of Love Island - and she's caused quite a stir since her debut.

Admitting he wished the contestant was with him in the villa in 2022, Adam said: "Will is my favourite boy and I probably wish to be honest that Olivia was in my year."

When asked if he fancied the ring girl, 27, he admitted: "I would say out of everyone I would say yeah.

"I proper like her. You know when Zara came in, not my cup of tea which is fine because you're not going to be everyone's cup of tea but I kind of preferred Olivia in that situation."

Sharing his view on the other ladies in the villa he continued: "I really like Tanya as well," he added: "I like her I'm a big fan of her," reports Daily Star.

Adam returned to Love Island last year as a bombshell after making his debut in 2018.

In 2022, he made a beeline for paramedic Paige, who even introduced her beau to her mum on the show.

However, cracks began to appear when the couple left the villa when Adam was photographed with his arm around a blonde student in MacDonalds.

Both he and student Annie denied anything untoward was going on - but Paige wasn't having any of it, especially when Adam was pictured partying in Ibiza while cosying up to another girl at a pool party.

After the photo and videos came out, the Welsh beauty removed all traces of her ex from her social media and unfollowed him on Instagram.

She told the Saving Grace podcast: "I’m single – living my best life. No I’m kidding, it’s been a really s**t time."

Opening up about the cheating allegations, Paige said Adam was 'not friends' with the woman in Ibiza and that there was even more video evidence.

She said: "It’s not just that video. There are other videos that people don’t know about of different people, on the same night, in different locations.

"At first, I was like, nah do you know what? It’s just an arm. I get that people get flirty. There’s nothing to it. If I’m in the club and a guy puts his arm around me, is it cheating? No.

"And then these other videos came out and I’m just like, 'ooh. Ooh, I can’t justify this.'"

•Love Island is on ITV2 on Monday at 9pm
