Love Island's Adam Collard 'offered to help' Katie Price and denies 'setting sights' on her

Love Island star Adam Collard said he was 'offering help' to Katie Price and denied 'setting his sights' on her.

It was recently reported that the ITV2 star had his sights set on the former glamour model but it turns out it was all about health and fitness.

The star recently split up with Paige Thorne and later reached out to Katie, who also just got out of a relationship following her on-off romance with Carl Woods.

His reps exclusively told The Mirror that he wants to help her 'reach her goals'.

The spokesperson said: "Adam does not have his sights set on Katie Price. He simply reached out to offer her some help because he’s doing a lot of work with people to help them focus on their goals.

"Through his fitness and psychological work he’s been quietly helping lots of people become more confident in themselves and become the best version of themselves.

"Next year he’s got some big projects coming up in line with this work and a few celebrity names will be involved too."

Katie also denied the rumours on her Instagram Stories.

As she shared a screenshot of an article reporting the rumours, she wrote: "Omg don't know where this has come from but I'm not texting Adam and I'm not texting any man I'm concentrating on my current situations."

Outside of showbiz, Adam works as a personal trainer at his SCULPT fitness centre.

His Instagram is filled with photos of his physique and his training.

Adam explained he started getting into fitness when he was 16 years old.

"I stood out at school and got bad comments because I was tall and a bit overweight," the 27-year-old said.

"But thanks to that I have a little voice in my head that keeps me on track, but there really is a pressure to look a certain way."

Despite his love of fitness, he still gets shamed by people around him, including his stepmother.

He said little comments about his size and weight 'can really get you down'.

"You don’t know what someone’s situation is so being called super skinny could affect them negatively, in the same way as being called super fat," he added to The Sun.

"It depends who you’re talking to but for some it could be a trigger for them."

After appearing on Love Island this summer, he explained he chose to return to the show as it helped 'amplify' his business.
