Love Island's Aaron Waters hit by 'bullying' accusations from ex as new series faces fresh scandal

The new series of Love Island is facing a fresh scandal, after the TV ex of bombshell Aaron Waters has accused him of 'bullying' and 'bodyshaming' on the Australian version of the show.

Less than a week into its second stint in South Africa, Love Island took a turn no-one was expecting when Aaron and fellow Love Island Australia contestant Jesy Wynter went into the villa as new arrivals. UK based viewers who've never watched an episode of the Aussie show had no clue who either of them were, but it didn't take long for new of their appearance to reach Down Under.

And one person far from impressed at Aaron being allowed to take part was his Love Island ex Courtney Stubbs. Courtney and Aaron both appeared on the third series of Love Island Australia in 2021 and Aaron briefly touched on his time on that show, before going into the UK show.

He made a very pointed dig at ex Courtney, when he branded her his 'least favourite' when she appeared on the iPad screen in front of him.

That proved to be too much for Courtney and making a series of allegations against Aaron on TikTok, she began: "I thought I would just give my side of the story about my experience on Love Island with this guy," before adding: "It was horrible. He bullied me, belittled me, he skin-shamed me, he body-shamed me."

Becoming more emotional on camera, Courtney continued: "He would constantly tell me to f*** off, to shut up, the whole show. And made a personal vendetta against me to make sure every guy felt the same way about me." After expressing shock at him being on UK Love Island, Courtney added: "It would be nice for people to know what he’s like"

Aaron's representatives have yet to address the allegations against him and ChronicleLive have contacted Love Island for a comment.

Courtney's video, which saw her supported by Love Island UK star Tasha Ghouri in the comments section, came as Aaron's current Love Island co-star, Haris Namani, was alleged to have been involved in a street brawl, with a video of the fight surfacing on Snapchat and then being published by The Sun.

There are rumours Haris has been dumped from Love Island, and, after he landed in the bottom three boys at the end of Tuesday's episode, fans will find out his fate for definite on Wednesday night.
