Love Island recoupling results: Who is now coupled up and who is single following twist?

Love Island served up a twist during the episode that aired on Tuesday, June 13. Following the arrival of bombshells Charlotte Sumner and Leah Taylor, the Islanders received a text letting them know a recoupling would take place, with the boys choosing who they wanted to couple up with.

It read: "Tonight there will be a recoupling where the boys will pick which girls they would like to couple up with. The girls not picked to be in a couple will be left single and vulnerable."

However, there was a twist, as another text revealed: "Charlotte and Leah - as the newest arrivals, before the boys make any decisions you will choose who you’d like to couple up with first."

It's been a rocky few days in the villa, with Molly Marsh and Zachariah Noble getting to know one another and sharing their first kiss, despite being coupled up with Mitchel Taylor and Catherine Agbaje, while André Furtado revealed he'd rather get to know Catherine over Ruchee Gurung, who he had been getting closer to.

Elsewhere, Tyrique Hyde, who is coupled up with Ella Thomas, ruffled some feathers when he sat down to talk to new bombshell Leah at the firepit in tonight's episode. So the recoupling left many on the edge of their seats as the drama unfolded, here are the results as one girl is left single and vulnerable.

Who are the new Love Island couples?

Leah Taylor and Tyrique Hyde

Charlotte Sumner and Zachariah Noble

André Furtado and Catherine Agbaje

Mehdi Edno and Whitney Adebayo

Sammy Root and Jess Harding

Mitchel Taylor and Molly Marsh

The recoupling meant that Ruchee Gurung and Ella Thomas were left single and at risk of being dumped, with the fate in their fellow islanders' hands. However, the episode ended on a cliffhanger so viewers will have to wait to see who the villa decides to save.
