Love Island pushed back to 10pm time slot tonight ahead of brutal dumping

Love Island 2020's latest episode will not air at the normal time on Tuesday evening.

The show has been pushed back to the later time of 10pm on ITV2, ahead of a brutal dumping.

ITV have shaken up the schedules to make way for live coverage of the Brit Awards 2020 on the main channel.

Despite being on sister channel ITV2, Love Island has been pushed back most likely to keep viewers tuned in to the live ceremony.

The awards will be hosted by comedian Jack Whitehall from 8pm this evening.

According to the TV guides, Love Island will not air until after this coverage has finished at 10pm.

It will be on for just over an hour, until 11:05pm, with Islanders currently facing being dumped.

Five couples are at risk just days before the final.

It's not yet been confirmed how many Islanders or couples will be ditched, but the scenes are thought to be airing in Tuesday's episode.

This means the axed Islanders would already be out of the villa, following the public vote.

Those facing the chop include Demi Jones and Luke Mabbott, Jamie Clayton and Natalia Zoppa, Mike Boateng and Priscilla Anyabu, Callum Jones and Molly Smith, and Jess Gale and Ched Uzor.

The couples who were saved from facing the vote were Paige Turley and Finn Tapp, and Siannise Fudge and Luke Trotman.

Islanders had to choose between themselves which couples would face the vote.

In their pairs, they had to decide on two couples who they believed were the least compatible in the villa.

Awkwardly, they then had to tell each other face-to-face who they had chosen and why.

Love Island continues Tuesday night at 10pm on ITV2.
