Love Island pushed back for Euro 2020 final on Sunday, ITV confirms

Sunday's episode of Love Island has been pushed back in the schedule to allow football fans to watch the Euro 2020 final live.

The dating reality show usually airs at 9pm on ITV2 – but the programme will now start at 10pm, reports the Mirror.

The England v Italy clash at Wembley Stadium kicks off at 8pm, meaning supporters should be able to tune into both shows as long as the football does not run into extra time or penalties.

The rescheduling of Love Island also means Aftersun has been pushed back too. It will now air at 11pm, straight after the main show.

Producers have not told the Islanders that England have made it to the final – and they will not tell them the result until they leave the villa.

Any late arrivals to the show will also be told not to spill the beans to the other contestants.

The Euro 2020 final will air live on both BBC and ITV. Coverage begins at 7pm and 6.30pm respectively.
