Alex Bowen could be left unable to walk with horror injury

Love Island star Olivia Buckland revealed she is worried her husband could be left unable to walk after suffering a sickening football injury.

Concerned Liv said that her hubby Alex Bowen is set to have surgery in January for an injury he sustained during a football match four years ago.

Doctors warned the couple that if the injury remains untreated, Alex could be left unable to walk.

In an interview with new! magazine, Liv explained her husband's fracture "could give way at any point".

She said: "It’s a football injury from four years ago. He went to A&E at the time but it was too busy so he left."

She added: "Then recently he got it checked out and they were like, 'You need to have it done because it could give way at any point and you wouldn't be able to walk.'

"I’m going to be the one going up and down the stairs looking after him."

It comes as the couple, who met in 2016 and tied the knot two years later, are planning on moving next month after purchasing a new home away from the city life.

Fans speculate the couple are moving in preparation to start expanding their family, however Liv said she was still too busy with work.

She said: “Kids wise, we do talk about it, and I think I’m more broody than I used to be and I do want to have kids.

“But we’re just so busy and one of the opportunities I have next year, I might have to move abroad for two months so I wouldn't be able to have a baby next year anyway.

“So it’s definitely not going to happen next year, but I think it’s on the cards, just not sure when.”
