Love Island odds slashed on Amber and Michael winning after his confession

They were the clear favourites before the Casa Amor twist wreaked havoc this year and odds have now been slashed once again on Amber and Michael winning Love Island.

After their early friendship blossomed into romance in the first few weeks of this year's show, the Geordie girl and Scouse firefighter were the hot tip to triumph.

But then came Casa Amor and we all know what happened there! However, after Joanna was dumped from the Island and Michael admitted he still has feelings for Amber, bookies have put them right back in the running to win the Love Island final in a few weeks time.

Odds on them stealing Love Island victory have been slashed from 50/1 to as low as 6/1 following Wednesday night's episode.

Tommy and Molly-Mae remain clear favourites at 1/2. Still well and truly in their honeymoon period, Curtis and Maura are second in the market at 7/1.

Oddschecker spokesperson Callum Wilson: "Michael's 'chaldish' behaviour has been under severe scrutiny since his U-turn at Casa Amor, and it appears that his feelings for Amber have now come full circle.

"Should the tattooed turncoat return to his former squeeze, they could be the candidates to break the Tommy and Molly cabal."

Love Island current odds

Tommy and Molly - 1/2

Amber and Michael - 6/1

Curtis and Maura - 7/1

Anton and Belle - 12/1

Ovie and Amber - 20/1

Jordan and Anna - 66/1
