The intruder that broke into the Love Island villa revealed he ‘planned it for a while’ and flew to Spain from the UK to pull off the stunt.
Love Island has been rocked as bosses have been forced to beef up security at the Spanish villa after the property was broken into by YouTuber Omer Majid.
Lifting the lid on the incident, intruder Majid revealed how and why he broke into the villa despite security patrolling the compound.
Speaking to Daily Star, he said: "I planned it for a while. I literally flew here just to do that from the UK.
"I found the area vicinity through internet searches.
"Then I drove around for about five hours the day before scouting the location trying to find an entry."
He added: “It was really secure to be honest. They had people patrolling all the time and watch towers.
"But then I found a possible way in via the trees and hills.
"The next day I dressed in all black and went for it but my body has cuts from trying to get up there."
Despite successfully getting into the garden, the prankster failed to see the islanders or get close to them, as quick-thinking bosses put the villa on lockdown to ensure the contestants were safe inside.
"They put code red on which meant locking everybody up that was cast," he said.
"I recorded this all on my camera all the way from the start as well as live streaming."
A Love Island spokesperson said: "Last night a security breach was identified and an intruder was removed from the Villa with immediate effect.
“The safety of both our islanders and our production crew remains our primary concern. As part of our stringent COVID safety measures, the Villa area that was trespassed has been fully deep cleaned before being made accessible again to the islanders and crew."
