Love Island new boy Tom Walker's mum 'watches in horror' at Maura's advances

The mother of Love Island 2019 new boy Tom Walker has watched his first night there 'in horror'.

The 29-year-old from Leeds has just entered the villa alongside fellow newbie Jordan Hames and he has had a baptism of fire at the hands of the overtly sexual Maura Higgins.

Taking Maura and Anna Vakili on a date, after they were left single following the recoupling, he may not have expected the forthright nature of Maura, who offered to go to bed with him before he had even finished his mains.

Some Love Island fans were left feeling disgusted by the nature of Maura's language and Tom's mum was left covering her eyes as she watched his first night play out.

The Irish stunner had already declared that she needed to "get under somebody" to get over the rejection of boxer Tommy Fury, who picked Molly-Mae in the recoupling.

Maura wasted no time with Tom, asking him: "Do you want to share a bed with me? I'm all on my own. I need a cuddle".

After it was revealed Tom and Jordan would be sharing a bed, Tom joked: "No funny business" and Maura laughed back at him: "Save that for me Tom."

A post on Tom's Instagram story showed his mum 'looking on in horror' as his first hours in the villa are played out.

Captioning the snap, it reveals: "Tom's mum is loving life with this challenge."

She will no doubt be pleased that Tom has made an instant impression, though could be a little worried that her little boy could be preyed upon by 'man eater' Maura.

Viewers have called out the Irish ring girl for being a "major cringe" and have urged Tom to turn his interest to fellow newbie Elma Pazar.

Even if it's just for own wellbeing rather than her son's experience in the infamous villa.

*Love Island airs all week at 9pm on ITV2.
