Love Island newcomer Liam Reardon was savagely rejected by former star, Joanna Chimonides.
The Welsh bricklayer, 21, is set to send shockwaves through the Love Island villa tonight as he swans in as a late arrival in a bid to couple up with one of the five girls.
Although he may have some luck with Faye, Kaz, Liberty, Shannon, or Chloe, Liam was previously rejected by 2019 contestant Joanna after he reached out to her on social media.
After Joanna appeared on the show, Liam developed a huge crush on the brunette beauty, and chanced his arm at wooing her by sending her a cheeky DM.
Unfortunately for Liam, Joanna was having none of it and decided to not reply after his advances.
Lifting the lid on the awkward encounter ahead of his arrival in the villa, Liam revealed: “Joanna Chimonides– I did message her before.
“She didn’t answer. She is gorgeous, my type of girl.”
The reality hopeful went on to describe his type.
"Louisa Johnson from X Factor, she is very, very attractive and I like someone who can sing. And Nicole Scherzinger."
And Liam has already got his eye on one of this season’s lovely ladies ahead of his bombshell arrival into the villa.
The handsome hunk has set his sights on Kaz, admitting that he’s not only attracted to her physically, but he’s also got a thing for her bubbly personality.
"I think Kaz is really good looking and has a great personality. I’m looking forward to getting to know her,” the Welsh native teased.
Liam is also excited about getting to know Chloe – who decided to couple-up with Aaron on Wednesday night’s explosive instalment of the ITV dating series.
"Chloe - I like her confidence and I’m intrigued to see what she’s about,” Liam revealed.
Liam is one of two new boys due to make their arrival and shake things up hours after the series saw its first girl, Shannon, leave the show.
Introducing himself on Wednesday night’s show, Liam said: “ I'm Liam, I'm 21 and I'm a bricklayer from south Wales.
“Back home my friends tend to call me Mr steal your girl - its says it in the name really.
"I'm not going into the villa to break anyone's heart or upset anyone but if I am coupled up with someone and my head gets turned I have no problem pursuing that.
"The lads should be worried; the ladies should be excited and I can't wait to stir things up."
Love Island airs on ITV2 at 9PM.
