Love Island new boy George compares Demi to 'mustard on toast' in cringe chat up line

Love Island 2020 fans were left mortified and "disgusted" by one of the most cringe chat up lines the show has ever seen.

New boy George, who entered the villa as the original boys left for Casa Amor, tried to woo Nas Majeed's partner Demi Jones.

Shown in a new teaser for Tuesday night's episode, he decides to chat with her alone to lay his cards on the table.

But his attempts to steal her from Nas have left fans horrified, especially after hearing his bizarre chat up line.

In the clip, he tells her: "You're mustard and I'm having you on toast."

The pair then kiss later on in a challenge, amid fears couples will be torn apart.

But it wasn't even the fear of Nas being left alone that caused the most talk on Twitter.

Viewers were left cringing over what he had to say, with the odd comment about mustard on toast.

Others were more "disgusted" and asking if mustard on toast was even a thing, horrified that he possibly ate it.

One fan commented: "Has that lad just said 'you are mustard and I am having you on toast' to Demi ???? Did I actually just hear them words leave his mouth? Leave the villa immediately."

Another said: "Did a man really say ‘you’re mustard and I want you on my toast'?"

Fans fear Nas and Demi will split (ITV)

A third asked: "Umm what’s wrong with men in the UK?"

Meanwhile, a fourth questioned: "Who the f**k has mustard on toast?"

Some fans begged Demi to reject him simply over the comment, and not even because they feared for Nas.

Whether Demi will be won over by the newbie and ditch Nas for him, fans will have to tune in to find out.

This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV.
