Love Island Molly-Mae's mask slips over 'diva' response to being branded 'fake' by viewers

Molly-Mae Hague is left fuming tonight after she discovers a newspaper headline claiming fans have branded her "fake and bored".

The social media influencer has struggled to convince viewers that she has feelings for Tommy Fury, especially after one Islander reportedly said that she initially said the idea of kissing the boxer "made her feel sick".

This evening, the Islanders take part in a challenge which sees them all presented with headlines that are about one another.

The names are all blanked out and they have to determine who it is about.

They then have to pick up a drink from the 'Sidebar of Shame' and end up throwing it over who they think the headline is about.

Curtis manages to correctly guess the headline, which reads: "Love Island fans accuse 'bored' Molly-Mae of faking her love for Tommy."

Molly-Mae is fuming in the Beach Hut and admits she doesn't think she will be able to convince viewers now that she isn't fake with such little time left.

She says: "I’m definitely not bored.

"If people still think I’m fake at this point, what hope have I got?"

Chris later incorrectly guesses the following headline: "Love Island fans convinced Maura and Chris are meant to be together."

Chris throws a drink over himself and India, infuriating Harley in the process.

She says: " “He [Chris] could have picked anyone! For him to have done that, it’e s ridiculous. I understand it’s a game but it was his decision and it was who he thought were meant to be together and he decided to choose someone he used to like.”

*Love Island airs tonight at 9pm on ITV2
