Love Island Maura is a true vixen - but Amy is the true FAKE, says body language expert

Is Love Island newbie Maura a real vixen? On current form I'd say she has the word written through her like a stick of rock.

Of course there's an element of manufactured persona there too as nothing grabs the cameras more at this stage of the show than a predatory invading islander but I've seen many reality panto baddies' turn up in shows boasting they will 'stir things up' but they've all been over-the-top unpleasant and their underlying body language signals have always hinted at fear rather than fun.

So far though, Maura looks like she's having the best fun.

Entering a tight existing social pack will always be daunting but the intense proximity of the Love Island villa means conflict, dislike and the risk of rejection will be stressful to the most confident person.

Maura's current behaviour means she'll risk alienating the boys as well as the girls as -if Tommy rejects her - she'll intimidate the rest of the guy group, who hardly dare glance in her direction for fear the wrath of the girls will fall down on their heads.

She took on and polished off 'attacks' from both Amber and Molly-May though without getting one hair out of place and her rounded-cheek smile suggests she's enjoying the skirmishes even more than the seduction.

The brilliant thing about her is that she doesn't mask or pretend to be anything other than a vixen.

While 'sweet' Amy twists and turns trying to look like the innocent victim during her spats with Lucie, Maura's up-front style lets you know what's coming.

It is a huge personal regret that she didn't set her cap at Curtis, the patron saint of goodness and moral correctness in there as that would have been a plot line that could have been even more fun.

Of course there's probably a warmer side of her too but currently her game-playing looks part-role-play but part genuine too.

That high five of congratulation in bed with her fellow newbie let us know she's deliberately in there to stir it up but would you let her anywhere near your man?

Probably not!
