Love Island Lucie and Joe in explosive argument over flirting with other islanders

It's only been four days - but in Love Island, that's a lifetime and tonight Lucie and Joe get in an explosive argument.

Joe has been feeling mugged off since Tommy coupled up with Lucie and has made his feelings very clear.

With Joe being very intense, Lucie has been left in tears several times - ending things with Tommy yesterday to please Joe.

But tonight's episode sees Joe potentially moving on from the surfer girl - with straight-talking Geordie beautician Amber.

In the garden, Joe tells Amber : “You are the probably the kind of girl I would go for…”

To which Amber replies: "Really? Me and Lucie are not the same at all."

Joe tells her: “I feel like not only are you loyal, I feel like if we were to couple up you’d be straight talking.”

Lucie realises Joe and Amber are flirting and pulls him up on his double standards.

As Amber and Joe are chatting, Lucie approaches the pair and asks Joe for a chat. She says :“Can I talk to you in a min?”

Joe replies: “Yeah of course you can. Talk to me now if you want.”

Lucie says :“No, it’s alright. I’ll leave you to it. Just come and get me when you’re done.”

But Amber seems put out by Joe’s immediate need to speak with Lucie and disregard for their conversation. She says “Are you having me on?”

The drama has got all the Islanders talking. Yewande, Michael, Sherif and Anna are gathered around the fire pit watching Amber and Joe.

Yewande says: “She [Amber] genuinely likes Joe. She doesn’t like anyone else.”

Anna replies: “Yeah but I feel like Joe genuinely likes Lucie.”

Shortly after, Lucie returns to speak with Joe and Amber heads over to the fire pit to join the other Islanders.

Lucie confronts Joe and says: “If you’re flirting with her behind my back, why can’t I talk to Tommy?”

On the day beds, Tommy speaks with Callum, Anton and Curtis while watching Lucie and Joe’s conversation.

He says: Look what has happened after a day and a half. They’re not going to last in the long run.”

The rest of the Islanders continue to watch Lucie and Joe from the fire pit.

Amy offers some advice to Amber about Joe. She says :“Play it cool. You’ve got the power and you can let him graft for you because he needs you more than you need him, darling.”
