Love Island Liverpool star broke down in tears and felt like 'odd one out' in villa

Love Island star Gabby Allen has opened up about how she "felt like the odd one out" during her time on the show.

The Allerton-born fitness guru first rose to fame on the third series of Love Island back in 2017.

But a segment of this week's show brought memories flooding back for Gabby, who has previously spoken out about her body insecurities.

It came after Tuesday night's episode saw the contestants take part in a game where the couples tried to guess each other's answers to personal questions in a bid to find out more about one another.

Sharon Gaffka and Faye Winter were not happy as Hugo Hammond admitted that he was not keen on 'fake personality and looks' during the game, which led to a heated argument.

The episode struck a chord with former contestant Gabby, who took to Twitter to share her own experience on the show.

She said: "Remember, I spoke/cried about feeling inadequate when I was on Love island cause I had no boobs and I felt like the odd one out.

"It proper knocked my confidence! & I still get asked about it now! #LoveIsland."

In a previous interview with FEMAIL, Gabby said she had considered having a boob job to boost her confidence after leaving the villa but later came to accept her body and decided against going under the knife.

She said: "Before I went in the villa I was very body confident. I was absolutely mortified when I came out and everyone knew about my insecurities.

'My confidence has come back since leaving Love Island, now I'm not surrounded by fake boobs and fake flowing hair. It's easier to feel better about myself."

Gabby has spent the first half of this year living in Dubai with her boyfriend Brandon Myers.

She was among a long list of reality stars and influencers who were slammed for travelling to the UAE at the end of last year.

Georgia Harrison, Sophie Kasaei and Chloe Ferry were also criticised for travelling in late 2020.
