Love Island LIVE: Samira leaves as Alexandra must choose betwee Doctor Alex, Idris and Kieran
Another day, another episode of Love Island to devour.
Tonight’s episode (12 July) started with Samira deciding to leave the villa, wanting to chase after former contestant Frankie instead of that £50,000 prize.
“I’ve not had any connection in here with anyone and I had a little taste of that with Frankie and it’s gone abruptly and I think I’d always be thinking ‘What if,’” the former West End actor told the girls through tears. “I woke up this morning and I thought, it’s my time to go… I have to do this for me, I’ve never felt so strong.”
So, what happened after Samira left? Well, everyone got over it pretty quickly as the boys were tasked with dressing as firemen. When you have boys as dull as ditch-water, you might as well parade them around like lumps of wet, soggy, muscular meat.
This all led to Idris, Kieren, and Doctor Alex trying to impress the latest addition to the villa, Alexandra, who now must decide which one of the three boys she wants to couple with. Whoever does not get chosen goes home. And things are not looking good for Kieren.
Who will go home? Who knows. The producers decided to leave us on a particularly annoying cliffhanger, just before Girl Alex made her choice. But, chances are, by the end of the week, England, Samira, Kieren and Doctor Alex will all be getting tucked into bed by their mums.

Another thought, this season happens to be the longest series yet, extended two weeks. Normally, we'd be nearing the very bitter end. But this time, they're stretching it. Probably a bit too much. They're saving the good stuff.
To recap: Samira has gone and Alexandra must pick between Kieren, Idris, and Doctor Alex. Whoever doesn't get chosen goes home.
Some thoughts from the episode: Doctor Alex hasn't scored well with anyone. Will this be his moment? Probably not. Lady Alex keeps going on about Idris being, physically, a man's man, and she seems to be digging that. It's all over for Doctor Alex, I reckon. Now, go and get some shade lad. You deserve it. Kinda.
I spoke way too soon... We're not finding out until tomorrow! Cliffhanger!! Guess we'll be talking all night about this!!! Or not, because it's gone 10 and I'm knackered.
Please, just send home Charlie. Ellie! You know what to do! Choose Idris! Let Alexandra choose Alex! And bam, we're sorted with an entertaining show again.

Oh no. Oh nooooooo. Two boys are going home! TWO. Because of a re-coupling. It's all, basically, up to Alexandra. They really do always save all the good stuff for the last 15 minutes.
"Classy but fun," say Doctor Alex. While girl Alex questioned whether the guy would even be able to carry her. She's not that impressed is she? Stuck a tongue in, but what does that say? Did she do that to the other lads?
Wait, who the hell is Charlie? And kinda know who Ellie is, but Charlie? Who? That fella has been shafted. Unlike Alexandra, who now has the two new boys AND Doctor Alex going for her.
