Love Island legend warns Tom to 'run' from 'toxic' Zara as she goes to war with Olivia

A Love Island legend has warned contestant Tom Clare to 'run' from 'toxic' Zara Lackenby-Brown as she goes to war with Olivia Hawkins.

Marcel Somerville, who took part in series three of the hit dating show, has taken to his social media to try and warn Tom.

As someone who has already been in the villa, the former Blazin' Squad star thought he would lend his expertise to footballer Tom before he makes a decision he might regret.

He took to his Twitter page where he called Zara "toxic" and told Tom to "run" before it was too late.

Marcel wrote: "Zara’s energy is so toxic I can’t lie! Pure mean girl vibes. Run Tom Run #LoveIsland"

Zara and Olivia haven't seen eye to eye for most the time they have been in the villa.

The pair have been arguing on and off over Tom when Zara chose him in the recoupling.

Things came to a head once again in Monday's episode when Olivia pulled Tom for a chat which seemed to rattle Zara who questioned what they were talking about.

However, Olivia said the conversation was "private" which was an answer Zara didn't seem too happy about.

"Private? Well, I like to be open here so can I ask you what it was about?" asked Zara before Olivia reiterated that the pair spoke in private.

Zara went on to explain that she and Tom are coupled up so his conversation with Olivia is a "concern" to her, adding that she can "see a future" with him.

Olivia asked: "Are you married?" with Zara replying: "I’m here to find someone and I see a future with him."

Love Island fans have accused the pair of creating fake drama due to knowing each other before the show.

It's thought they knew each other before going into the villa after commenting on one another's Instagram posts, but now fans of the ITV2 show are convinced that they are deliberately creating drama in a bid to get more screen time.

Love Island airs every night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub. Love Island: Aftersun airs following Sunday nights episode, hosted by Maya Jama.
