Love Island jealousy as sparks fly between Molly-Mae and Tommy Fury - and there's a re-coupling tonight

Sparks fly between Manchester boxer Tommy Fury and newcomer Molly-Mae Hague on their hot tub date on tonight's Love Island.

It was revealed last night that the public had chosen Tommy to go on a date in the Hideaway with the new arrival on the ITV2 dating show.

The pair hit it off immediately, especially when Molly reveals that they're 'neighbours.'

Tommy asks her: “Where are you from by the way?”

And Molly-Mae says: “I live in Manchester! We’re literally neighbours.”

Complimenting her chosen date Molly-Mae says: “Your eyes are amazing.”

Molly-Mae also lives in Manchester (ITV)

And gentlemanly Tommy replies: “Likewise. You are … amazing! Looking at you now, you’re 100 per cent my type.”

A great start for the potential new couple, but it’s not long before Molly-Mae receives a text informing her that she has to choose a second date.

Tommy doesn’t seem to want the date to end and she giggles: “Are you fury-ous?!”

Tommy returns to the villa and heads to the fire pit for a debrief and tells dancer Curtis Pritchard: “She’s taking another date and guess who she wants? Curtis…you’re up. Go get yourself ready bro.”

Meanwhile Joe Garrett sees Molly-Mae’s arrival as an opportunity to get things back on track with Lucie.

But as Tommy gives Molly-Mae a lesson in boxing, the pair’s interaction hasn’t gone unnoticed by the other Islanders in the villa.

Lucie, who admits to feeling "a little bit jealous", tells Amy: “She’s straight on it this morning, isn’t she? She’s straight in there.”

But Tommy isn’t the only boy who is interested in Molly-Mae. Anton also joins the race for her affections.

Tonight will see the first re-coupling of the series and it’s decision time as one boy will be dumped from the island.

Love Island airs tonight at 9pm on ITV2
