Love Island: Is it all over for Joe and Lucie?

Tommy Fury’s got enough drama with Maura and Molly - and now he looks set to be dragged into Joe and Lucie’s relationship... again.

Sandwich man Joe has been coupled up with the surfer from day one, but is becoming increasingly suspicious of her friendship with Tommy, who she came close to choosing after he made a late arrival in the villa in week one.

The pair are now close friends, but Joe fears Lucie, who he went ‘official’ with last week, is becoming selfish.

Speaking in the Beach Hut, he said: “Lucie and Tommy always go off and have little chats. I know they’re just friends but it’s strange.

“She knows it’ll be affecting me. She’s not really caring that much.”

Charmer: Boxer Tommy Fury is close to Lucie (ITV)

He later badgered Molly-Mae about his suspicions (as if she hasn’t got enough to worry about with Tommy!), telling her: “I want a happy villa. Happy families. Lucie is acting very selfishly. Who is she sitting with now? Tommy. I feel like she isn’t the person I met.”

After mulling over the situation he finally decided to confront Lucie about her friendship with the boxer, deeming it “strange”.

“The whole thing with Tommy, it is strange,” he said. “You were with him for a good hour.”

Lucie replied: “Yes because I get on with him better than the girls. It doesn’t mean there is a romantic thing there.”

Joe replied: “You know I like you so much but I do doubt things at times.”

With a decoupling imminent, is this the end for Joe and Lucie?

Love Island is on ITV2, tonight at 9pm
