Love Island Hugo's hilarious putdown to Aaron after Lucinda rejects him

Love Island is really starting to pick up now, as contestants are dramatically dumped from the villa and cracks begin to show.

During Sunday's (18 July) instalment of the hit ITV dating show, newcomer Danny Bibby threw a spanner in the works by deciding to couple up with Lucinda Strafford.

Lucinda was originally coupled up with Brad McClelland before he sacrificed his place in the villa to give her more "opportunities".

Since then she has been getting closer to Aaron Francis, who didn't waste any time in attempting to mark his territory after the recoupling as he leaned in for a kiss, which Lucinda swerved.

Before Aaron got the chance to explain to Teddy how the chat went, Hugo ran over and asked: "Did I just see you get swerved?"

After admitting that he got rejected, Teddy asked how close he was to getting a kiss.

But Hugo interrupted, shouting: "Man left his bean bag bruv," at the top of his voice, causing the boys to burst into laughter.

Fans of the show rushed to Twitter to comment on the friendly jibe, as one person said: "'Man left his beanbag bruv' - Hugo...funniest line this season @LoveIsland #LoveIslandUK."

Another joked: "@Primark design team off to make “man left his beanbag bruv” t-shirts as we speak #LoveIsland".

"That's surely got to be the line of @LoveIsland so far. 'Man left his beanbag bruv'," said a third.

Someone else commented: "AYYY NAH ‘MAN LEFT HIS BEANBAG BRUV’ HAS KILLED ME OFF".

Later, Lucinda told Danny that Aaron had tried to kiss her but neglected to admit that she had told Aaron she'd wanted to be coupled with him.

Danny then pulled him for a chat, where he said the move was "disrespectful" and that there was a "time and a place" for Aaron to have tried it on.
