Love Island host Laura Whitmore heading into the villa with big news

Love Island host Laura Whitmore has teased some big drama is on the horizon by revealing that's she about to go into the villa.

As we know from series gone by, whenever Caroline Flack went into the villa it typically meant something bad was about to happen and her replacement Laura revealed to Aftersun viewers on Monday night that she was going in "with some important news for the Islanders," who are still reeling from the shock arrival of new girl Rebecca Gormley.

With Rebecca swiftly being sent on dates with both Connor and Callum following her dramatic entrance into the villa at the end of the Dirty Dancing challenge, could she be at the centre of the drama and have to pick a boy to couple up with?

Or dare we utter those two fateful words...Casa Amor? The second villa caused massive upset last year when Michael infamously dumped eventual winner Amber for Joanna - will it be making an appearance in South Africa and will it have a different name?

One Aftersun viewer speculated the eliminations could be about to get underway, tweeting "Laura saying she she has a plane to catch means voting starts this week." Well we won't have to wait long to find out!

Love Island continues every night at 9pm on ITV2.
