A Love Island heart-throb will be topping the bill at Nottingham's huge weekend of wrestling this month - and it'll be a far cry from sunbathing in the comfort of 'The Villa'.
Reality TV star Adam Maxted, who also appeared in the re-booted Saturday afternoon series World of Sport, will be the headline competitor at Rushcliffe Arena on Friday, December 20.
Tickets to the New Generation Wrestling (NGW) event start at £10 for children and £12 for adults via ngwuk.com.
Maxted, 27, shot to fame on the ITV2 programme where singles aim to find love on a Mediterranean sunshine island.
The Belfast beefcake then returned to television screens last year when he starred in ITV1’s resurrection of Saturday afternoon staple World of Sport.
His opponent next week will be fellow powerhouse Big Guns Joe.
Their heavyweight collision will be part of a night of TV-style wrestling. Also on the bill is brand new British Heavyweight Champion, The Standout Lucas Steel, who will face the rough and tough Dave Graves.
Showstealer Nathan Cruz will also be in action against Ethan Allen, while popular masked hero Robbie X goes one-on-one with Myles Kayman.
The show starts at 6.30pm at the Rushcliffe Arena, Rugby Road, West Brigford.
