Tommy Fury on Love Island? Has Tyson Fury just CONFIRMED his younger brother will enter the villa?

Tyson Fury’s younger brother Tommy Fury appears to be the first name confirmed for this year’s Love Island after the heavyweight boxer claimed he is heading into the Spanish villa.

Tyson joked his 19-year-old brother will be a “hit with the ladies” during an interview on Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show on ESPN.

“He’s going on a TV show called Love Island,” Fury said. “He’s a good looking young kid and I think he’s going to be a hit with the ladies on it. He clearly doesn’t look like me because I look like an ogre!”

Speaking about Tommy's career, he continued: “He’s only just started his professional career, he’s 2-0 at the moment. He’s got a big future but it’s going to take a lot of sacrifice and dedication to achieve goals.”

A Love Island spokesperson told Standard Online that “any names are at this point speculation”.

Other names rumoured to be heading for a summer of love in Spain, include plus-size model Jada Sezer.

Love Island date confirmed in new teaser

A source told The Sun: “Previous years have been criticised for a lack of diversity among contestants.

“This year producers are determined to have more variation among the Islanders. Jada would be a perfect choice because she is passionate about body positivity – and even appeared on Good Morning Britain in her underwear before running the marathon.”

Rumoured: Model Jada Sezer (Dave Benett)

Sezer – who describes herself as a “self-love advocate” – is signed to WILHELMINA models.

A spokesperson for ITV said: “When casting for Love Island, we always strive to reflect the age, experiences and diversity of our audience and this year is no exception with a cross section of different personalities and backgrounds in the villa.”

Lotan Carter, who was famously removed from the Big Brother house, National Lottery winner Jane Park and Instagram influencer Sav Berry have also been rumoured to appear.

Love Island returns to screens on June 3.
