Love Island 'has 377 Ofcom complaints' after Paige is made to think Finn 'cheated'

Love Island has been hit by hundreds of complaints after a game led Paige Turley to believe her other half in the villa, Finn Trapp, had been looking elsewhere in Casa Amor.

The ITV2 reality show had split the girls and boys with the lads going to another villa which had new 'bombshell' girls looking to tempt them away from their couples.

The girls had also had the temptation of host of new hunks to test their resolve and it was a great relief for Paige and Finn that they had come through the test unscathed.

So they thought anyway. A 'News Splash' task got Paige questioning Finn and doubting his actions in Casa Amor despite him remaining faithful.

The Sun has reported that TV watchdog Ofcom received 377 complaints after a headline sent reverberations through the villa.

Viewers thought it was unfair that the headline - Casa Amor cause Callum, Finn and Nas' heads to turn on tonight's Love Island- arguing that this was plainly not true.

Ofcom reportedly explained that most of complaints centred on Finn's inclusion in the headline as this was 'fake news' designed to cause drama by show producers.

Paige was instantly upset and Finn protested his innocence, saying: "The girls can say what I was like."

Referring to Heart radio station's showbiz site, which had been the source of the headline, Paige said: "The paper tells me different, Heart tells me different."

The 22-year-old told Finn: "There was a million cameras and f***ing mics in there. People were watching."

She later admitted in the Beach Hut: "It's no secret I'm not the most trusting so this just feels a bit like betrayal."

Finn, 20, continued to argue that the headline was unfair but it could be the start of cracks in the relationship despite any wrongdoing and viewers have been upset that this is the case.
