Michael Griffiths is set to make a confession in tonight’s (Wednesday’s) episode of Love Island, admitting that he does actually have feelings for Amber Gill.
In a sneak peek of the episode which was broadcast on ITV2, Griffiths appears to make a U-turn following Joanna Chimonides’ departure and decide that he does, in fact, fancy Amber after all.
During a chat with his fellow islanders, Michael confesses: "Now Joanna's gone I've had time to think about things and I do actually like Amber."
The turnaround comes days after Joanna's exit and just hours after Amber's date with new islander Greg O’Shea.
Michael and Amber had an emotional chat in last night's show, with Amber telling him: "I really have got over the whole situation.
"I did feel sorry for you after the whole thing and I decided to be civil and nice."
To which Michael replied: "I didn't want to hurt you, I take out all my frustrations on you. I didn't mean to hurt you."
Love Island airs at 9pm on ITV2.
