Love Island: First look inside villa and snaps of the first episode

The day has finally arrived! Love Island is back and we've got a cheeky sneak peak of tonight's episode and the villa- you can smell the drama already.

One of the most anticipated dating shows is back after being postponed due to the pandemic last year.

Love Island's social media has teased fans by releasing nuggets of information bit by bit over the last month and finally revealed the cast last week-with Scotland's Shannon Singh expected to be a fan favourite.

Now Laura Whitmore unveiled the villa which is located in sunny hotspot Majorca, in the picturesque village Sant Llorenç des Cardass.

In the first look teaser photos, the young women are standing in a line while the men are revealed one by one and they can decide who they fancy.

Islanders couple

The first round of coupling up can be slightly awkward, as the women decide who they want to partner up with, and share a bed with, based almost entirely on appearance and first impressions.

If interested, they can then put themselves forward - and if more than one girl steps up, it's up to the man to decide who will be the lucky one.

However, the girls can change their mind if another fine contestant comes in afterwards and grabs their attention.

In tonight's episode we see the girls eagerly awaiting the arrival of the boys.

WARNING-SPOILERS AHEAD!

Liberty says: “I’m ready for the hotties. Anyone else?”

Ahead of the first coupling up, Laura asks the girls how they’re feeling. Liberty says: “I’m nervous but I’m excited to see what potential is coming through the doors.”

Speaking about what she is looking for, Kaz says: “I just like muscles and biceps, nice backs and nice bodies!”

On whether personality is important to her, Faye says: “We need the personality; if he’s not bringing the personality, I don’t want him!”

Speaking about her ‘turn-offs’, Sharon says: “White jeans and an ego.”

The time arrives for the girls to meet the boys as host Laura says: “I think it’s about time we meet some boys. What do you think?

"One by one the guys are going to come in, you’re going to decide if you like them or not. If you fancy them, you step forward and once you step forward or not, each boy will then decide who they want to couple up with.

"So, who is ready to meet our first boy?”

The boys, Jake, Aaron, Hugo, Toby and Brad, make their entrance one by one and are greeted by the girls.

The five matches are soon made and following the coupling up Laura says: “Will you stay together? Or will your heads be turned?”

But before leaving the Villa, Laura warns: “Girls, just a little bit of advice from me, if you want to keep hold of your man you may have to graft a little bit harder, that’s all I’m saying.”

A game of dares is interrupted by a late arrival

The Islanders are nearing the end of their first day in paradise and this evening they gather at the fire pit for a game of dares.

Toby’s up first and picks out a dare from the box which reads: “One of you must suck the toes of the other for 30 seconds.”

Speaking in the Beach Hut after the dare, Toby said: “I think I got the worst one, but you know what? I’m up for it because it’s all a laugh.”

But will his partner be up for it?

Up next is Brad and his dare reads: “You and your partner must snog for 30 seconds.”

But who will be locking lips in the first Villa kiss of 2021?

Speaking in the Beach Hut after the kiss, Brad said: “Decent kiss. It went on a bit too long I think.”

It’s soon Sharon’s turn for a dare. Sharon reads: “One of you must suck the other’s earlobe for 30 seconds.”

Speaking in the Beach Hut, Sharon said: “Earlobe sucking is probably not something I do on the first day that I meet someone.

"Actually, I don’t do that when I first meet someone. It was just a bit weird!”

However, the Islanders game of dares is soon interrupted as Toby receives a text.

Toby has received a voice note from Chloe which says: “Hey boys. How are you? Chloe here. I’ve just arrived and I’m outside the front of the Villa.

"I’d like to take you all on a date but I’ll let you guys decide who wants to come and join me. Hopefully I’ll see you soon.”

We cannot wait to see who will turn up by Chloe's side.

And since they've already coupled up, it's bound to ruffle some feathers already.

First look inside the villa

This year's villa is set and ready for love with a makeover of it's own, complete with a neon theme and some 'cheeky' features.

The Love Island villa is filled with neon features, cheeky signs on the wall and a secret drawer with a button to push. But we haven't been shown what's inside. That's one for the imagination.
