Love Island first look: Anton comforts Lucie following Joe's exit and Danny is having doubts over Yewande

It was another dramatic night in the Love Island villa - and there's only a few hours to go until we do it all over again.

Joe Garrett and Elma Pazar were the latest Islander's to get their marching orders from the public as they were dumped from the ITV2 show, leaving Lucie Donlan and Anton Danyluk as singletons once again.

Following the savage dumping, surfer Lucie is left gutted and pining for her love interest and its Anton who is there to comfort her.

As Lucie doesn't know whether to stay or follow Joe out the door, it's gym owner Anton who offers some sound advice.

"You need to remember why you came here," he says. "So you need to think what you came here for and if you feel Joe is the one...then you know what to do."

But the girls are also there for Lucie despite recent differences.

The girls are also trying to help Lucie (ITV)

Molly-Mae Hague, who has already had her fair share of drama, said: "We’re all going to be there for you. You’re not alone. You’re going to be fine. You’ve got all these girls here and they do have your best interests at heart."

Elsewhere, Danny Williams is casting doubt over his feelings for Yewande Biala.

Speaking to Anton and new guy Tom Walker, Danny says: "I would say she [Yewande] is genuinely not feeling it."

The 21-year-old then opens up in the Beach Hut adding: "It’s not easy for me. I’ve really made my intentions clear but I am a bit dejected tonight."

However, Yewande is also sharing her own frustrations on the blossoming relationship to Curtis Pritchard.

Yewande expresses her frustration over Danny (ITV)

When he tells her that Danny doesn't know if she likes him, Yewande says: "That is the only frustrating thing with Danny. I just feel like he always needs reassurance. I’m not going to tell you every day that I really like you. It’s never going to happen."

And whilst doubts may be arising in some couples, others are making strides.

Anna Vakili get her first 'smooch' of the series thanks to new boy Jordan Hames and Amber Gill and Michael Griffths head out on their first date.

Tom is also wasting no time with Elma out the door as he makes a play for Maura Higgins.

Will sparks fly or will drama continue to unravel? Guess we will have to tune in to find out.

Love Island continues at 9pm on ITV2.
