Love Island finalists - subtle gestures that expose how couples really feel about each other

With the Love Island 2019 series finale just hours away, all four of the remaining couples are gearing up to find out who will walk away with the £50,000 cash prize.

And with the drama of the villa almost over, only two people will get the chance to head home all the richer.

Here, body language expert Judi James reveals the subtle gestures and expressions that show what the Love Island finalists REALLY think of each other...

Ovie Soko and India Reynolds

Ovie Soko is leaning in - but India Reynolds is all about that camera (ITV)

Perhaps Ovie should take a look at this pose! While he's doing the kind of body language that you'd expect to see from a guy happily coupled-up (and maybe even in love!) India's pose is pure glamour, suggesting it's the camera she's really into here.

Ovie has a softened facial expression, with his lips parted in a subtle smile and his torso leans in towards India for maximum connection.

India looks a bit oblivious here though, with her back arched to press her boobs up and out to the camera and a pout aimed in the same direction, rather than at him.

He looks into her, she looks into a glamour career here.

Amber Gill and Greg O'Shea

Amber and Greg have a friendly vibe going on - but not much in the way of sexual chemistry (ITV)

There's some sweet-looking mirroring between these two but the 'cute' factor comes with a large spatial gap between their bodies, which takes any sexual sizzle out of their pose.

Their arms are linked but both of them face straight-on to the camera wearing rather childlike grins.

They look more like friends that are still a bit shy together rather than a loved-up, established couple here.

Curtis Pritchard and Maura Higgins

Maura's got a possessive lean going on, but Curtis looks like a grinning holiday rep (ITV)

Maura's putting in most of the effort here when it comes to defining themselves as a loved-up, sensual couple, while Curtis grins widely like a holiday club rep.

Her breasts are pressed suggestively into his torso, while her eye expression appears to be trying to tell us she's found the man of her dreams.

She's even placed a hand on Curtis's torso in a classic celebrity couple signal of ownership. While she perfects the celebrity power couple look though, Curtis's teeth-baring grin is projecting to the back rows of the ballroom.

It looks like Maura might be the one firmly steering them both career-wise here.

Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague

Tommy and Molly-Mae look like they know they're going to win (ITV)

Going for the couple-next-door look that did so well for Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer last year, this duo's smiling pose lacks the kind of narcissistic cheese and pouting that suggests they're promoting themselves as individuals rather than a couple.

Their bodies are pressed together but their grins look wholesome.

They both look happy and excited here and they clearly look most like the couple that thinks they’re going to win the series.

*Love Island final airs tonight at 9pm on ITV2
