Love Island final: First look at the girls' show-stopping Summer Ball gowns

Love Island final remaining female stars will swap their bikinis for show-stopping gowns as they declare their love for the boys in a sweet final party ahead of tonight’s live final.

In Monday’s episode, viewers see the four final couples – Chloe & Toby, Faye & Teddy, Kaz & Tyler and Millie & Liam – wake up to a text message telling them they have a day of pampering ahead of them as they prepare for the Love Island 2021 Summer Ball.

“Islanders. Tonight, you will all attend the Love Island 2021 Summer Ball but first it’s time to brush up on your dance moves. #salsasesh #savethelastdance,” Toby reads.

The couples are then given private salsa lessons from dance teachers Iryna and Roma, before Kaz receives a text which tells the excited girls that they’ll be leaving the villa for a trip to a spa.

As the boys are suited and booted for the start of the summer ball, the girls walk to the firepit one at a time, showcasing their glamorous outfits to the max.

Kaz looks stunning in an baby blue dress with a thigh high split, while Millie looks chic in a chic emerald green high neck dress.

Faye wows with a dark orange silk cutaway gown, and Chloe looks gorgeous in a daring bright blue dress, with the boys left utterly speechless by their changed appearances.

After getting glammed up, the couples nervously take to the stage to declare their love for one another, as Millie jokes that she feels like she’s “getting married” as she tells Liam how she truly feels.

“Seven weeks ago I walked into the Villa not knowing what my journey was going to hold. However, I knew I only had eyes for you,” she states, before briefly touching upon their break-up after Liam was unfaithful in Casa Amor.

The 22-year-old Welsh bricklayer then tells Millie she makes him feel like he “was floating on a cloud floating high up in the skies.”

“As our journey nears the end, I look back and love every minute of it. We now have a new journey to venture into - life outside the Villa,” he adds.

Next up is Faye and Teddy, and her grovelling poem includes an apology after her shocking outburst after the villa’s movie night.

“I’m sorry you had to deal with a girl so insecure, luckily you’re fixing me just by being so pure. At times my outbursts caused our relationship to seem cursed but I’ll be forever grateful you stood by me at my worst,” she says.

However, Teddy cheekily tells Faye she’s a “beautiful pain in my a**e”, as Kaz and Tyler take to the stage.

“You’re a gentleman, you’re funny, you’re kind and you’re even more affectionate than me!” Kaz tells Tyler, before telling him that she never thought she’d find anyone like him on the ITV2 dating show.

“I am yours Kaz and I’ve always been yours,” he sweetly tells Kaz.

Chloe and Toby are last to declare their love, as she talks about their “amazing connection”, while Toby sweetly tries his hardest to offer up a romantic poem for his one true love.

“I’m not the best with words but for you Chlo, I’m willing to try. While I read this declaration of love with those piercing blue eyes watching me, I know that if I look up I might lose all composure!”

The Love Island final is on ITV2 at 9pm.
