Maura Higgins has remained close friends with some Love Islanders she appeared on the show with last year - one of them being Chris Taylor.
But it seems as though fans are wanting the pair to become an item after the Irish grid girl shared a sweet throwback snap of them taken before lockdown.
In a stunning green dress, Maura looked effortlessly chic as she let her wavy brunette locks flow while clutching a YSL handbag.
Chris looked dashing next to the Irish beauty on a rooftop bar while he dressed in a grey blazer.
Alongside the snap with her 2.8 million Instagram followers, Maura wrote: "We’re going LIVE this Saturday to sing our very own lockdown songs."
Fans couldn't wait to let the reality TV star know they like the look of the Maura and Chris duo.
One fan penned: "I was rooting for yous [sic] 2 to get together since love island, your [sic] both my 2 fav characters."
Others added: "I know you're just friends but I've always shipped you two."
"These 2 would actually make a great couple I know you were friends couple on love island last year but the chemistry is unreal give it a go maybe."
Maura recently addressed rumours she was romancing Dancing On Ice partner Alex Demetriou after his split from his wife Carlotta Edwards in April.
The telly star insisted she and Alex were nothing more than friends.
The pair met at the end of last year when she partnered with the pro-skater for Dancing On Ice.
They were skated around rumours of a flirtation during their time on the ITV show.
Shortly after the series wrapped, Alex confessed his marriage to Carlotta had collapsed.
