Love Island fans 'want to call Ofcom' over Hugo's awkward X-rated chat with Amy

Love Island viewers were left cringed out by Hugo Hammond's chat with Casa Amor newbie Amy Day.

On Monday night (26 July) the boys were sent packing to Casa Amor where they were introduced to six new girls.

Particularly eager to get to know them was Hugo, after his current partner Chloe Burrows, rejected his advances to being any more than just friends.

But when Hugo sat down with Amy, fans couldn't get over his cringe flirting.

When asked "what she does" and "what she's into," Amy revealed she enjoys playing tennis and going to the gym.

Fans weren't impressed (ITV)

Attempting to turn up the heat with his lines about tennis, Hugo said: "I think I'd thrash you though."

Surprised, Amy replied: "I think you'd be surprised," before adding: "I think you need to watch out and not be so cocky."

When talk turned to his teaching career, Amy asked if he was "quite strict?"

But when he said he wasn't, she was quite disappointed, as she said: "Oh, see, you've let me down now. I wanted you to be like [whip cracking noise]."

"I'm somewhere in between," Hugo said.

Amy then asked: "Do you like being dominant in the bedroom? Does that carry through?"

Hugo got a bit flustered before replying: "You'll have to find out."

In the hideaway, Hugo said of Amy: "Amy's energy is spot on. She brings a lot to the table and I definitely feel like we kind of vibe off each other. Obviously, she wasn't in my bed last night, but tonight could be the night."

Viewers rushed to Twitter to comment on it, as one person said: "We actually need to get Hugo out of there ASAP. It is a matter of urgency. I want to call OfCom."

Another wrote: "Does Hugo realise this 'spot on' energy Amy is giving him is called being uninterested?"
