Love Island fans turn on ‘game player’ Curtis as Joel Dommett predicts SPLIT from Amy

Curtis has been branded a “game player” by some Love Island fans who believe his relationship with Amy is “fake”.

The pair coupled up last week after Curtis made a surprise late entrance with boxer Tommy Fury and opted to ‘steal’ her from Anton.

The pair have already shared their first kiss, and Curtis made sure to “friend zone” new bombshell Molly-Mae after she invited him to join her on a date in the Hideaway hot tub.

But despite being the early favourites to win the show, fans are unconvinced, with comedian Joel Dommett going as far as to predict they will split.

“Curtis is in no way romantically interested in Amy. There will be no antics under the covers in their bed,” tweeted one fan.

Another wrote: “Like am I the only one who isn’t fooled by Curtis!? He’s fake as f***! He wants to be THE couple the one who’s together from the beginning mum and dad’s odlf the villa, he’s the biggest game player in there (sic).”

Others turned on Amy, claiming she is not “in love” with the dancer. “Finding it hard to believe that Amy has fallen in love with Curtis after 5 days,” tweeted one. “She is definitely more fake than she comes across. Talk about fame and money hungry #loveisland.”

Another posted: “Amy is being a bit fake in my opinion, there’s no way she loves Curtis already...”

Dommett compared Curtis and Amy to 2018 islanders Wes Nelson and Laura Anderson who split after Nelson had his head turned by newcomer Megan Barton Hanson who he later ‘stole’ from Eyal Booker.

“I do really like them because they don’t just care for each other, they care for other people,” he said on Aftersun. “But, sorry to say it, I think he is going to stray eventually. They are like Laura and Wes last year who were so nice early on and so amazing but three weeks later...

“It’s a long time. Someone is going to come in and he’s going to have a chat with someone.”

Love Island is on ITV2, tonight at 9pm
