Love Island fans think Lucie will betray Joe with Tommy - despite him promising to wait for her

Joe Garratt and Lucie Donlan were left devastated last night when they were torn apart on Love Island after a brutal public vote.

The sandwich maker was kicked out of the villa last night alongside Elma Pazar and promised to wait for surfer Lucie as they tearfully said goodbye.

But fans are convinced that now Joe is out of the villa, Lucie will couple up with Tommy Fury.

Lucie and Joe had been coupled up from the start, but Tommy was added into the mix and it became a love triangle.

Tommy chose to couple up with Lucie, leaving Joe devastated. But at the next recoupling Lucie chose to be with Joe.

Since then, Tommy has coupled up with Molly-Mae Hague but has remained very friendly with Lucie, with the two accused of "flirting" by some of the other Islanders.

Fans flocked to Twitter to speculate that their 'romance' might reignited following Joe's shock exit.
