Iain Stirling has teased Love Island fans after sharing a photo on Twitter.
The Edinburgh comedian took to Twitter to show off the iconic Love Island water bottles with "Iain" and "Laura" written on them in pink font, basking in the sun. Captioning it "Not long now..."
One of the most anticipated reality TV shows will be making a return this month, ITV have announced with host Laura Whitmore and voiceover Iain.
Excited Love Island fans quickly commented, some tagging their mates.
"date round mine/yours?" One quickly asked her pal.
"I can already hear the theme tune!" Another added accompanying the reply with a gif of an ex Love Island contestant dancing.
"I’m so excited to see all new people I’m sure it will be amazing" A third added.
Love Island was cancelled last year due to the pandemic and fans have been eagerly waiting for the villa to open again.
Although there hasn't been an exact release date, an official trailer was aired before the Mask Dancer's Finale.
It showed Iain pulling up in a UK high street and Laura sounding the alarm for the long awaited show alongside her husband, Iain, as a swarm of singletons flood the street.
"I think they missed us", he adds and confirming the return date of June 2021.
Speculation from a fan website has suggested that June 28 will be the air date and it is being filmed in Mallorca, WalesOnline reports.
The line up has been kept under wraps but according to Radio Times, a list of influencers have already been rumoured to be heading into the villa, including Gordon Ramsey's daughter Holly.
Although she has mentioned on Instagram that she isn't taking part. and going by the buzz from Iain's post, people cannot wait.
Ex footballer Jay Munro and Alisha Le May are also rumoured to be part of this year's cast.
Love Island will be on ITV 2 and ITV Hub June 2021.
