Love Island 2019 fans "caught out" Michael Griffiths during the latest episode of the ITV2 dating series.
He confessed his feelings for Amber Gill after taking a huge u-turn, having told her days earlier they were not gonna happen.
Amber and Michael were together until he dumped her in the Casa Amor twist for new girl Joanna.
But since Joanna's exit, and him initially telling Amber that he didn't have feelings for her, he's now told Amber she could be the one for him.
Amber grilled him over his earlier conversations where he denied they would be anything more than friends.
She recalled the moment at the party, when Joanna was leaving, that he told the islanders he'd found the person he was looking for.
Michael tried claiming to Amber that he never actually said who he was talking about, as if his words were in fact about her.
But viewers have called him a liar, after recalling what he actually said that night.
Michael told host Caroline Flack that he'd found what he was looking for and that she was "leaving".
The fact that Joanna was being dumped, not Amber, proves the statement was about his new partner and not the Geordie lass.
Taking to Twitter , one fan said: "ok so that was the BIGGEST lie of the season lmao amber kick him into touch."
Another agreed: "DONT BELIEVE HIM AMBER! He is CLEARLY lying."
A third added: "WELL AMBER WERENT F**KING LEAVING WAS SHE?" echoed by another who tweeted: "Amber wasn’t leaving!"
Love Island airs all week at 9pm on ITV2.
