Love Island fans spot Brad's 'shameless' repeated chat-up line on Lucinda

Love Island fans are deeply unimpressed with Brad McClelland after noticing he trundles out the same old chat-up line to almost every new woman that enters the villa.

The 26-year-old builder has been coupled with Faye Winter and Rachel Finni so far in the 2021 series – and has made it clear he loves women with blonde hair.

On Tuesday night’s episode, viewers saw two new bombshells enter the Love Island villa in the form of 21-year-old Lucinda Strafford and 24-year-old Millie Court – both who work in the fashion industry.

The ladies caused a stir when they entered the villa when all the other female contestants were out to brunch and the lads were left at home alone.

Brad’s head was turned by both – and he could be heard during the latest episode explaining how much he was attracted to Lucinda in particular.

Some fans already expressed dismay that Brad cooled things off with 29-year-old Rachel within minutes of her saving him from elimination.

And now fans have noticed Brad used the same chat up line he used with Rachel on new entrant Lucinda.

In the preview of tonight’s episode, the Northumberland lad could be heard telling Lucinda she was “more his type” – which is exactly how he described Rachel when he tried to woo her to save himself from elimination.

In preview VT, Lucinda is shown saying to Brad, about Rachel: "She's your type though, right?"

But Brad swiftly replies: "Well you're more my type.”

This comes after he also threw Rachel under the bus when Lucinda first entered the villa as she asked if all the boys were settled in couples, and Brad practically immediately blurted: “I’m not”.

Fans took to Twitter after seeing Brad flirt with Lucinda to blast the muscular lad.

One raged: “Brad saying this is the first time he’s been like “wow” over a girls acting like he didn’t have a full on stroke when Rachel walked in. Get in the bin you wet wipe.”

Another noted: "God I'm cringing so hard seeing Brad pull the same ‘for the first time I'm seeing someone that's my type in here’ line. These men are too shameless."

A third fan tweeted: "Brad is saying the same thing he said to Rachel" – and another viewer added: "BRAD YOU SAID THE SAME "FOR THE FIRST TIME..." TO RACHEL TOO!!!!"

Tensions look set to rise in the Love Island villa as some of the existing contestants confessed they felt threatened by the arrival of Lucinda and Millie.

While out to brunch, the girls wanted to tease the boys by sending them a selfie showing how much fun they were having without them – only to be left thrown into panic when the boys replied with a selfie of their own showing them cosying up to the new ladies.

Rachel noticed that Brad was standing close to Lucinda with an arm around her waist and gasped that he was ‘her type’ before hastily suggesting they all return to the villa to meet the new arrivals themselves.

Love Island continues on ITV2 and via the ITV Hub tonight at 9pm
