Love Island fans spot bedtime clue that shows Hugo secretly fancies Chloe

Hugo Hammond dramatically recoupled with Chloe Burrows on Thursday as he shot down her ex Toby Aromolaran - much to the blonde beauty's delight.

But while many thought it was just a friendship coupling, other eagle-eyed viewers think they've spotted signs that Hugo - who Toby called a "girl follower" on Friday's show - actually likes her.

The PE teacher, 24, is yet to find a romantic connection in the villa but if fans are right he looks set to make his move on marketing exec Chloe, 26.

While the islanders settled down for some shut eye, new "couple" Chloe and Hugo had a conversation in the dark.

Chloe moaned to him: "I just need to be a bit more careful with boys I think, and just stop being a f***ing idiot."

Hugo then whispered: "Why don't you just go for like… Like a nice person who will treat you well."

He was also spotted stroking her arm.

And his antics made viewers flock to Twitter with their theories.

One fan commented: "Oh Hugo is defos trying to be the nice guy best friend who the girl falls in love with after she’s been done over."

"Hugo is in love with Chloe. He told Abi that Toby looked like Chris brown when she said that was her type. And the nice guy he just referred to was himself. I see you Hugo #LoveIsland," said another.

And a third put: "'Maybe… you should go for a nice guy who treats you well' HUGO IS SCREAMING PICK ME VIBES."

Friday night's actions and pillow talk came after viewers were already getting suspicious about Hugo's intentions with Chloe when she approached him for comfort while still coupled with Toby.

While cuddling and chatting on the day bed, viewers noticed Hugo's hand extremely close to Chloe's bum.

And then when they joked about not having any love interests in the villa now, Hugo said: "I'm going to have to stick it on you."

Chloe added: "Do you know what, I'll stick it right back," before Hugo replied: "Yeah, let's do it."

"Why not Hugo?," asked Chloe.

To which Hugo replied: "Been there, done that, got the snog. Got the badge."

Chloe then added: "Might as well do it again."

The pair coupling up continues to divide viewers with many debating the duo's popularity on social media.
