Love Island fans speculate this year could be the first time winners don't split the prize money

This year’s Love Island got off to a slow start, but tensions are beginning to rise as the boy’s heads were turned by two new bombshells this week.

Brad quickly dumped Rachel for footballer Aaron Connelly’s ex Lucinda, while Faye was pushed aside by Liam as he looked to pursue things with new girl Millie.

Even fan favourite couple Kaz and Toby couldn’t escape the drama as Toby’s head was turned last night by early newcomer Chloe.

Fans were left devastated as Toby told Kaz he wanted to get to know Chloe after she ‘sneakily’ kissed him during a challenge.

Moments after the heart-breaking conversation, Toby and Chloe went for a chat on the terrace and fans were left fuming after the two kissed.

One Twitter user said: “Toby and Chloe can get tf off my screen I’m voting them off ASAP #LoveIsland.”

Fans of the show have now begun to speculate that this year may be the first time in the show's history that the winners will not split the prize money as the boys continue to jump ship.

One user said: "I just realised that this could be the series where they don't split the prize money #LoveIsland.”

The show has been on for almost two weeks now, and so far, there is no stand out couple.

Liberty and Jake have remained coupled up since the beginning of the show, but fans weren't happy when he told Liberty that if a girl his type walked through the door, he would get to know them.

Model Aaron also ditched Sharron when the two new girls arrived as he said he didn’t like the way she dealt with Hugo’s fake comments.

Aaron was chosen by both new girls, Lucinda and Millie, to go on a date and quickly afterwards decided to end things with Sharron.

However, viewers of the show last night caught a glimpse of Aaron cosying back up to the civil servant as he realised both Lucinda and Millie were interested in other boys.

The rocky relationships have led fans to believe that the current couplings won’t survive if Casa Amor goes ahead this year.

One fan said: “Everyone is leaving their relationship when Casa Amor happens.”
