Love Island fans slam Maura for 'acting like a sex pest' after Curtis rejects her advances

Curtis Pritchard put his foot down last night as he told Maura that they were not having sex despite her very forceful advances.

The couple were frolicking in bed when Curtis put a stop to any funny business, saying that “tonight is not the night”.

A frustrated Maura then asked him "when is the night?" but he didn’t give her an answer and just mumbled that he was “tired”.

As this was happening, right next to them their pals Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague appeared to be getting down and dirty under the sheets themselves.

Although they didn’t confirm or deny that they had sex, let’s just say poor Elly Belly is no longer quite as innocent a teddy bear after being jiggled around the bed.

The next morning, Maura was obviously still annoyed by Curtis’ actions, and told the girls about what happened.

She told them, as he asked if she wanted a coffee: "A f**king orgasm would be grand, is that too much to ask?"

She went on to tell the girls she was a "horny devil” but later added that it wasn't just about sex, it was more about lacking intimacy in general.

Angry viewers have hit out at the double standards, saying that if it was the other way around there would be uproar.

It’s not the first time her forward advances have got her into hot water - she was berated by Piers Morgan after straddling Tommy earlier in the series and forcibly trying to kiss him.

And Molly-Mae didn't escape criticism either after agreeing with Maura that she had a right to be mad at Curtis for saying no.

One fan tweeted: “Maura needs to stop acting like a sex pest. Viewers thinking it's funny seeing her pester Curtis for bits and then slagging him off to other people. I don't like him, but It's not funny. Switch the roles, you all would be losing your minds over a man acting that way.”

Another said: “Did Molly Mae seriously agree with Maura that she has the right to be annoyed at Curtis for NOT HAVING SEX ON A NATIONAL REALITY TV SHOW WITH SOMEONE HE ISNT EVEN IN A RELATIONSHIP WITH?! Did I then just watch Curtis have to JUSTIFY AND APOLOGISE FOR THIS?!

A third posted: “First Maura lays on top of Tommy and licks face after he clearly said ‘no’ and was visibly uncomfortable. Now she and the girls try to pressure and shame Curtis into have sex with her. When is Maura getting kicked off for sexual harassment!?”

Love Island continues tonight from 9pm on ITV2.
