Love Island fans have slammed host Laura Whitmore as 'disrespectful and awkward' after she probed a contestant about a connection to England football star Jack Grealish.
During the much-anticipated Love Island Reunion show, Whitmore chatted to former islander Lillie Haynes, whose sensational bikini shots were allegedly liked by the Manchester City star when posted on social media.
According to MailOnline, Grealish removed the interaction days later.
But viewers were left in a fury claiming the question was inappropriate and had nothing to do with the show.
They claimed it was also particularly hurtful in light of the fact Grealish is in a relationship with 25-year-old model Sasha Attwood.
Viewers squirmed as former islander Lillie refused to be drawn into the topic.
Trainee accountant Lillie was dumped from the villa after Liam Reardon decided to end their Casa Amor fling and go back to his original choice Millie Court, with the pair going on to win the show.
Discussing Lillie's uncomfortable scenes alongside the couple on the reunion, one fan asked: "Laura is so weird why is she mentioning Jack Grealish liking Lille’s pic???"
A second agreed: "Was defo inappropriate for Laura to ask Lillie about Jack Grealish on live tv he has a girlfriend …"
"Why did laura start talking about Jack Grealish?" a third asked.
A fourth wrote: "Erm sorry imagine being Jack Grealish’s girlfriend watching that then?? bit disrespectful??"
A fifth said: "How disrespectful. Jack Grealish has a girlfriend. These rumours must cause so much mental stress and heartache.. how can you add fuel to the fire when it’s someone’s personal life. What happened to be kind?"
And a sixth added: "Laura gives out about press intrusion but is well able to grill Lillie about Jack Grealish rumours (nothing to do with the show).
And earlier in The Reunion show Millie and Liam chatted about their experience of winning after overcoming Liam’s flirtatious antics in Casa Amor.
But to add fuel to the fire, Millie’s former love rival Lillie Haynes was invited on for a chat beside the couple.
Lillie was quick to state that she had been in communication with Millie and not Liam, who was then asked to comment on the situation.
He laughed but called them both “good people” and wished her well.
