Love Island fans set to complain to Ofcom after Hugo Hammond is 'humiliated'

Love Island fans have said they will complain to Ofcom about the treatment of Hugo Hammond during a challenge on the show.

Viewers thought that the Islanders were unfair on Hugo, who was left on the sidelines after being overlooked by the girls, as they looked to wreak revenge or forge new relationships with the controversial challenge.

The game saw the girls dress as police officers who stripped seductively before 'apprehending' one of the boys, before seducing them and throwing them into 'jail'.

It was meant to be that the girls picked their villa partners but after Sharon had her revenge on Aaron, with a diss of a kiss on her partner who had declared that he wanted to look further for a relationship, it started to go awry.

Hugo is coupled with Chloe but she ignored him to pick Toby and plant a sloppy kiss on his lips, much to his surprise and Kaz, who was forging a relationship with him.

This left Hugo standing alone at the end of the the challenge and he muttered to the girls that he was 'humiliated' by the experience.

Viewers took to Twitter to share their disgust at what they saw as they agreed that Hugo didn't deserve to be overlooked in such a cruel way.

One angry fan promised to take this further, tweeting: "Writing a complaint to Ofcom as Hugo didn’t get picked in the challenge."

Another agreed, writing alongside a gif of a woman frantically typing: "Me writing my Ofcom complaint about Hugo not being picked."

A third added: "Should complain to Ofcom for showing Hugo standing there in that challenge unpicked. My heart."

Another fan wants Hugo to find love in Casa Amor: "Put a 10/10 in Casa Amor for Hugo or Ofcom will be hearing from me!"
