Love Island fans 'scream at the telly' as Danny and Yewande share their first kiss

Viewers and fellow Islanders were cheering as Danny Williams and Yewande Biala shared their first kiss on Love Island .

Romance has been slowly blossoming between the couple after Danny chose Yewande to go on a date with him last Sunday - and tonight they kissed under the stars outside the villa.

Little did they know, they were being watched by two of their fellow Islanders Michael Griffiths and Amber Gill, who screamed and leaped out of their beanbags in excitement at the romantic moment.

"We're so happy because it's been a while. We've been waiting for this. Time's been ticking," said a thrilled Amber.

"Shout out to Danny and Yewande for making us scream at the telly," said the Love Island official Twitter account.

"It made me feel all cloudy and cosy!" cried one viewer.

"Awww so happy for them," tweeted another.

"Amber and Michael's reaction was literally my reaction," said another fan.

Michael instigated the kiss after telling Yewande he wanted to make a move the previous night.

"Why didn't you kiss me," she asked.

"I didn't want to pressure on you," he explained.

"Did you want to kiss me?" he asked, before they moved in for a smooch.

Seeing Michael and Amber, Yewande laughed: "Can you not just mind your own business?"

"He's the first person I've kissed for a long time. It was nice though," she said in the beach hut.

Fans had been calling for her to get more air time and have been pleased to see the spotlight on Yewande since she met model Danny, 21, from Hull.

The 23-year-old scientist, from Dublin, was excited to get glammed up for her date helped by the other girls on the ITV2 dating show.

Yewande was previously coupled up in the villa with Michael, 27, a firefighter from Liverpool but they didn't have a romantic connection and he fell for Amber.

On Love Island, Islanders must couple up in order to secure their place in the villa, with those who stay single finding themselves at risk of being dumped from the island.
