Love Island fans have expressed their relief at Hugo appearing on the show on Wednesday after claiming he'd 'gone missing' from the villa.
PE teacher Hugo had his fair shares of screen time in Love Island's opening month as he struggled to find any romance on the show.
Viewers rooted him to find a connection with one of the original girls or bombshells but it never materialised.
Hugo's luck changed in Casa Amor when he grew close to new girl Amy.

But, with the fallouts between Millie and Liam, Faye and Teddy and Kaz and Tyler dominating the on-screen action since the lads returned from Casa Amir, Hugo has been pretty much absent from Love Island over the past few days.
Taking to Twitter to pick up on the fact he was nowhere to be seen, one viewer posted: "Where is Hugo on love island? I just realised I haven’t seen him in a couple episodes?" while, also noticing he'd barely been on TV, another tweeted: "Sorry but where the fuck is Hugo?"
A third joked: "Where is Hugo? Oh still in Friend Island"
There was relief on Wednesday, when Hugo did appear on Love Island; first to talk to Teddy about his situation with Amy and then to chat to Amy herself about how things were going, as she complained he hadn't said if he liked her or not.
Amy told Hugo: “I definitely do feel like there is distance between us," to which he defensively replied: “What would me trying more look like? You haven’t pulled me.”
A slight difference of opinion then ensued, as Amy responded: “I feel like I’ve pulled you enough," but Hugo told her: “I literally can’t think of a time.”
Seeing him again, one fan took to Twitter to post: "ahhhh hugo’s back on my screen," and another commented: "Yay Hugo’s back…
