Love Island fans relieved as Curtis Pritchard 'friendzones' Molly-Mae Hague

Love Island viewers were VERY relieved tonight as Curtis Pritchard put new Islander Molly-Mae in the friendzone from the offset.

The social media influencer, 20, chose dancer Curtis as her second date in the hot tub.

Initially Molly-Mae went on a date with Tommy Fury, but chose dancer Curtis as her second date.

Unsurprisingly, Amy was not happy and fans were worried that sparks could fly between them (particularly after that awkward preview before the break)

Thankfully, as soon as Curtis slipped into the hot tub, he said that he was getting on "really, really well" with Amy and that they were the only proper couple in the villa.

And fans were ecstatic.

One tweeted: " Just when I thought I couldn't love Curtis any more . Amy on the other hand... pipe down hen "girl code" doesn't really apply to someone you've never met #LoveIsland."

While another commented: "curtis is the the cutest s*** i’ve ever seen, reassuring amy and making molly-mae feel welcomed and comfortable in the villa while hyping his boys up #loveisland."

A third remarked: "We must as a nation protect Curtis at ALL costs #LoveIsland."

"When Curtis friendzoned Molly-Mae MEN TAKE NOTES a real GENT loveisland," another wrote.

Following Curtis and Amy's return from their hot tub date, the girls quickly noticed that they are linking arms.

Stirrer Amber, of course, pointed this out and asks: "Why are they linking? Why are they linking?!"

Amy grit her teeth as she watched the pair with daggers in her eyes.

Thankfully, Curtis reassured her and insisted that he friendzoned Molly-Mae and eventually managed to calm Amy down.

Who will she pick at tonight's recoupling? And will it have a big effect on who is dumped from the villa?
